Here are some of the causes of brain cancer

The majority of brain cancer is the result of the spread of cancer derived from other organs of the body through the bloodstream. While the causes of brain cancer that comes straight from the brain is still unknown.

Primary brain cancer risk could be higher in the presence of genetic diseases:

  • Tuberose Sclerosis.
  • Gorlin Syndrome.
  • Li-Fraumeni cancer syndrome.
  • Turcot Syndrome.
  • Von Hippel-Lindau syndrome.

The following are factors that could potentially increase the risk of contracting a brain tumor:

  • Hereditary factors. Have a family member with an undiagnosed brain tumor.
  • Radiotherapy. The brain is exposed to radiation while undergoing radiotherapy action.
  • Exposure to chemicals, such as formaldehyde.
  • Infection with the HIV virus.
  • Smoking.
  • Exposure to toxins from the environment.

The link between radio frequency of usage of cell phones and brain tumors, is still unknown. The energy from the radio frequency can produce heat then increase the temperature of the body and damage the body's cells are exposed to the network. For the moment, it has been inferred that the radio frequency from cell phones is too low to produce such effects. Research to ensure this continues.
